 How many fingers do you have on each hand? What if I add more hands? Counting and adding by 5s and 10s is in the math curriculum! 

Set a target, kick the ball and add the points up. Let your parents have a turn and try to beat their score!  

 Add up the easier numbers first to figure it out. 

 Depending on when kids ask the question, you can estimate by counting by 30s if it’s months away, 7s if it’s weeks away, or by 1s if it’s days away. Count the exact days on a calendar. It's fun to calculate the day after their birthday too!
